Position: Event and Workshop Assistant
Reporting To: Director

FTE Status: Up to 6 hours/ month
Outside of providing funding, ArtReach prides itself on developing and delivering quality workshops that support young people in building their capacity and skill sets, increasing their confidence and ability to deliver high quality programs for their peers in the community. The Event and Workshop Assistant position supports the Director in the coordination and delivery of workshops, events and clinics.
As the Event and Workshop Assistant your role is to support ArtReach in the following ways:
- Support the Director in coordinating G.O.A.L Workshop Series sessions (includes coordinating food and drinks for participants, setting up space, taking attendance, handing out and collecting evaluations, gathering and organizing any contacts made and responding to any follow up requests)
- Documenting workshops
- Facilitating a workshop (if you have expertise in one of the topics in our series, or offering to facilitate a workshop topic outside of the series)
- Supporting with development, planning, set up, promotion, coordination, tear down and staffing of ArtReach Events (ie. Funder Speed Dating, fundraising events, granting clinics)
- Providing support to ArtReach applicants with feedback on grant applications
