From 2008-2022, our dear friends at CUE Arts Projects were able to provide more than $530,000 in funding to over 430 emerging artists and cultural leaders. In 2023, ArtReach had the privilege of taking over the delivery of this granting program, allowing us to support the creation of art projects by emerging creatives from equity-deserving populations who experience systemic barriers to accessing professional opportunities.
This year, ArtReach was able to provide funding to 23 visionary artists from across Toronto. And while we consider every dollar in the hands of an emerging artist a success, we received far more applications than we were able to support and had to decline many incredible and deserving projects.
In an effort to fund as many applicants as possible in our next granting round, ArtReach asks for your support. All funds raised will go directly to artists to cover artist fees, supplies, equipment, and the resources they need to bring their creative visions to life.
