Are you a young artist or entrepreneur preparing to file your taxes? Did you receive CERB/ CRB/ EI in 2020 and are unsure how this impacts filing? Want to better understand how to track and report on your artist grant?
In this session, hosted by Tova Epp of Artbooks, we’ll cover a brief introduction to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and the tax filer's relationship with it, including about deadlines, correspondence, and web access. We’ll also cover income reporting and expense tracking for freelancers, HST, and an in-depth look at the 2020 tax year (such as new rules and credits, CERB/ CRB/ EI implications, and artist grants) before moving into a Q&A session.
